Price history
History starts with the first sweep. Each month adds a column here.
Who Zenni suits
Zenni is the retailer most people mean when they say glasses online are cheap. Frames are the retailer’s own brand, the catalog is very large, and every lens option is priced on its own. If you have a mild prescription and want a plain pair, this is the basket to watch.
Where the total moves
The frame price is the headline, but the total is set by what you pick after it. A higher lens index, anti-reflective coating, blue-light filter, photochromic tint and expedited shipping each add to the figure. Our basket keeps the add-ons to anti-scratch alone so the number in the table is a floor for a usable pair, not a sale price.
Returns and try-on
Return terms are recorded in the table next to the price each month, together with whether a refund comes back as money or store credit. Try-on is virtual: you upload a photo or use the camera and the site draws the frame on your face. There is no home try-on.
How we price it
Each month we build the same pair: the most popular acetate full-rim frame in Zenni’s own sort, 1.50 index lenses, anti-scratch, standard shipping to Brooklyn, before coupons. The breakdown above shows each part so you can see where the money goes. How we rank has the full method.
Questions people ask
Does the frame price include lenses?
Basic single-vision lenses are included with most frames, but the index, coatings and tints are priced as add-ons. Our basket records the total with 1.50 index lenses and anti-scratch so you can see what a plain pair costs.
How long does delivery take?
Zenni makes the lenses to order and ships to you, so it is slower than a store. We record the estimate shown at checkout in each sweep rather than quoting a fixed number.
Can I use my vision insurance?
Usually as an out-of-network purchase: you pay, then submit an itemized receipt to your plan. See our insurance guide for the steps.
